Woojeon and Sejak are regarded as premium green teas in Korea, often commanding higher prices due to their exceptional quality. Sejak (세작), which translates to "thin sparrow" in Korean, refers to the delicate, young tea leaves harvested in late April to early May.
These teas are characterised by a gentle infusion, offering fresh green notes with minimal astringency and bitterness. The tea liquor is smooth and velvety, with a slightly thick mouthfeel that enhances the drinking experience. (Personally, we find this tea imparts a soothing, energising sensation.)
