From Earth to Cup
No two cups are ever alike, each carrying the quiet mark of its making, and a touch of fate.
Every cup finds its keeper. The one you hold carries its own quiet story, a reminder that some things in life arrive exactly as they’re meant to.

Sometimes, a little discovery feels like fate
On a leisurely trip to Malaysia, a petite cup caught our eye. It was simple, elegant, perfectly balanced.

We reached out to its maker and made plans to visit his studio. When the day came, we stepped into his space and learned about his craft, the care behind every curve and glaze.

Sometimes, a little discovery feels like fate. What began as admiration for a cup became the start of a friendship.

Through long conversations, we learned about his approach — the patience, the rhythm, and the intention in every decision made for each piece. In many ways, his philosophy mirrored our own, the same care we bring to tea and to the experiences we create around it.

Every cup begins with Malaysian clay, hand-dug and aged for over a year before being shaped by our potter. The glaze responds to each firing in its own way, shifting with air, fire, and atmosphere.

While all the cups share the same design language, no two are exactly alike. Slight differences in its glaze colour, height, curve, or weight make every cup a unique encounter.
