A Birthday Tea Party
A Special Farewell at 9 Tyrwhitt Road
After six meaningful years at our teahouse, we’re opening our doors for one final birthday celebration in this space we’ve all grown to love.
This will be our last birthday at this location and we decided to plan something special. A weekend of slow tea, warm conversations, and shared moments with the people who’ve made this journey unforgettable.
Our teahouse was transformed into an intimate gathering space, with each tea station thoughtfully designed to offer a unique tasting experience.
From freshly-made warabi mochi, rose madeleines to Peach Oolong tea jellies, we paired snacks with a curated lineup of teas at out free-flow tea bar.
There were oolongs across high and low oxidation levels, sencha brewed at varying temperatures, Yunnan white tea cold brew and even our personal favourites from our private collection. Alongside our kombuchas, our resident kombucha SCOBY also made a squishy guest appearance.
There was also a mini game where guests tried their hand at weighing out exactly 18g of tea — not as easy as it sounds!
